A. Logistics, services and support for Public Private Partnership programmes
- Eliciting, evaluating, supporting and monitoring Public Private Partnership schemes of DBT
- Manage ignition and innovation schemes
- Identify support and manage facilities to promote innovation by SMEs and academia
- Providing support for Biotech Parks and Incubators
- Support IP Management Services for industry such as prior art search, patent writing and patent filing etc.
B. Industry Platform Programmes
- Providing technical and other logistics help for organizing the industry platform discussions and idea generation meetings to bring scientists and industry together
C. Facilitating Technology Assessment and Transfer
- Providing support for Technology Advancement in the area of Agriculture and Health Sector.
- Technology Advancement Unit (TAU) will facilitate/advise and support implementation of ongoing R&D projects towards technology development, protection and transfer.
D. Information, Research, Analysis and Advisory Services
- Commissioning surveys and reports to assess the state of industry in terms of research, capacities, facilities, human resource etc.
- Industry reference database subscriptions
- Advisory Services:
- For start-ups and existing Small and Medium companies
- Develop and maintain a Panel of experts and mentors for consultation
- Support for University level mentorship and business advice cells
- Support technology transfer offices and provide necessary guidance for financing etc.
